Nigerian Society of Neonatal Medicine (NISONM) is a body of Paediatricians who care for newborn babies and seek to improve the standard of newborn care in Nigeria. It was founded in 2008, by passionately committed neonatal paediatricians whose focus and area of activity is newborn care at every level especially in the community.
NISONM creates awareness of maternal and newborn health status; identify factors within the communities and households that impact newborn survival and disseminate such.
