World Prematurity Day 2021 Celebration at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso,Oyo State.

The world prematurity day 2021, was celebrated in grand style at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Ogbomoso, Oyo state. It started on Tuesday 16th November, with the radio awareness on prematurity and world prematurity day in Yoruba(the local language) at Parrot FM Ogbomoso, presented by Dr Sayomi Bukola Adetutu, Consultant Paediatrician with Mr Ajayi, the hospital PRO as the anchor of the program. This was followed the next day by a departmental program in which the nurses, doctors and other health care workers working at the Special Care Baby Unit were appreciated followed by a presentation on the 2021 team by Dr Sayomi. Another presentation on Kangaroo Mother care was done by Dr Asaolu, a registrar in the Neonatal Unit. This was followed by a practical demonstration (for the benefit of the medical students in attendance) on how to do KMC by Dr Sayomi. Here attached are the pictures.
